I have to write a research proposal for my personality psychology class, but I can't decide what to do it on. Can someone give me some suggestions of a good personality hypothosis, perhaps something that is a correlation with only two varibles ... for example, self esteem and birth order.

On being a veterinarian and performing euthanasia...?

I've always loved animals and for a longest time I've had my goal set on becoming a veterinarian, but I'm having second thoughts because I don't believe I could stomach administrating euthanasia on animals as much as the profession requires. I have no religious beliefs against euthanasia, and I understand that performing euthanasia helps the animal so it won't suffer, but to perform euthanasia as often as I assume a vet sees a new puppy, I just don't think I could stomach it. And people have told me, "Well, just be a zoologist then", but I have no interest in research. Are there any veterinarians or vet techs that have felt the same? Do you find it emotionally difficult to kill an animal, even if that animal is suffering?

If you can't handle it....you CAN'T preform the duties required & should NOT waste your time & money.
